Hyat Katramiz was born and raised in Winter Haven, Florida. Ms. Katramiz grew up working for her father in a clothing store, which gave her unique and deep ties to her community. Her father set an example of superb customer service and showed her how working with and helping people are essential skills. When she graduated with her high school diploma from the Chain of Lakes Collegiate High School, she simultaneously earned her Associates Degree from Polk State College. Subsequently, she attended the University of Central Florida where she earned her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Political Science – Pre Law in 2017. Ms. Katramiz earned her Juris Doctorate Degree in 2020 from the Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University College of Law where she graduated Cum Laude. During law school, Ms. Katramiz spent two years as a litigation intern fighting for plaintiffs’ rights against insurance companies. This experience sparked her passion for civil litigation.
Ms. Katramiz obtained her Florida Bar License in 2020 and her Illinois Bar License in 2022 after taking the Uniform Bar Exam. After passing the Florida Bar in 2020, Ms. Katramiz began her career as a Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Attorney. Ms. Katramiz has worked on a variety of personal injury cases, both in pre-suit and in litigation. Day in and day out, Ms. Katramiz’s goal is to get the best possible outcome for her clients through diligent advocacy. Her early lessons of helping others through whatever questions or concerns they may have still resonate with her, and shape who she is as an attorney. Moreover, her bilingual skills in Arabic allow her to have the distinct privilege of advocating for a more diverse range of clients.
