Mohammad Mubarak was born and raised in Panama City, FL. After graduating with an Associates Degree from Gulf Coast Community College, Mr. Mubarak attended the University of Florida graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science. Mr. Mubarak then continued his education at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 2011.
After law school, Mohammad Mubarak had the privilege of serving the people of the State of Florida as an Assistant State Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit. During his years of service at the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Mubarak was promoted several times ultimately serving as a senior line attorney in a felony division. Mr. Mubarak managed a case load of over 200 felony cases with charges ranging from drug offenses to violent forcible felonies. Mr. Mubarak handled thousands of cases, argued hundreds of motions, and tried nearly 40 jury trials with a conviction rate of over 70 percent.
After his years of service, Mr. Mubarak left the State Attorney’s Office and took a job as an Associate Attorney at a national law firm, and one of the preeminent insurance defense firms in the South-Eastern United States. Because of his legal background, Mr. Mubarak was placed in a specialized litigation department. Mr. Mubarak’s hard work and legal prowess, led to him being named a “rising star,” within just the first year of employment. Mr. Mubarak provided coverage analysis to several insurance companies, conducted countless depositions and examinations under oath, drafted and argued hundreds of motions, and represented insurance companies at trial. This practice allowed Mr. Mubarak to hone his litigation skills, and gain extensive and invaluable knowledge regarding the defense of a property insurance claim.
